Ruby has been dancing her whole life and always
knew she wanted to share her love of dance with others. She has been doing this as a dance teacher for the past 15 years, teaching at a number of Dance studios throughout the Northern Rivers before moving to London at 22 to further her dance training at Pineapple Dance Studios and Dance Works. During this time she continued her dance teaching journey.
Ruby has completed an advanced level of Classical Ballet training with Australian Teachers of Dance and is a qualified ATOD teacher and member qualifying her to teach Classical Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Musical Theatre. Ruby is also trained in and qualified to teach Acrobatic Arts.
In 2015 Ruby opened Makin Moves Dance Studio. Ruby loves being able to bring her years of experience and training to MMDance and is very excited to share her knowledge and love of dance with her students.

Miss Ruby will be teaching Exam Ballet, Junior Ballet, and Performance Team classes.

Luke is from Kingscliff NSW. He trained in Tap, Jazz & Contemporary performance from a young age on the Gold Coast, before moving to Melbourne at age 17, to complete his full time commercial and musical theatre training at Patrick Studios Australia.
Luke lived and worked overseas performing in various worldwide productions, cabarets, events and on cruise lines for almost 10 years. Luke has been teaching dance to all ages since he moved to London in 2009. Luke completed his teaching qualifications at the Exercise, Movement & Dance Academy in the UK. He is also a qualified personal trainer who understands the physical demands of dance and the importance of respecting the body.
Luke brings immense experience and knowledge as a Dance Teacher, Performer and Fitness Instructor. We have been lucky enough to have Luke as a permanent member of our teaching faculty since 2019 and Luke is excited to be returning to the Makin Moves family in 2021.
Luke will be teaching Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, Technique and Conditioning.

Prairie has been dancing for over 15 years in the Northern Rivers and Brisbane areas, developing a passion for teaching at age 16 as an assistant and demonstrator, particularly in contemporary, acrobatics and jazz classes. Prairie completed all of her ATOD Ballet examinations with the highest results.
She has spent 2018 completing her full time training at KAFTD in Melbourne, completing her Cert IV in Dance Teaching and Management along with her Acrobatic Arts qualifications.
Prairie is extensively trained and knowledgeable in all genres of Dance. Prairie is an enthusiastic and devoted teacher, eager to share her love of dance and gives her all to her students.
We have loved having Prairie as a part of our team since 2019 and are excited to have her returning in 2021.
